At Laurentian Dental Centre we recognize how important oral health is to your overall health.  As dental professionals, we need to do an overall examination to get to know your mouth to create a treatment plan that fits your needs.  This “new patient exam” is an integral part of your dental care, and allows us an opportunity to discuss your expectations and past health history.  Updated radiographs (commonly referred to as x-rays) will be taken and a thorough full- mouth examination will be performed.  We use a digital radiograph system as much as possible at Laurentian Centre, which reduces the radiation exposure by a significant amount, and allows you to see your radiographs on the screen so we can discuss diagnoses and treatment options.  Your treatment plan will be finalized at this appointment.
